Description: The Climate Council was jointly formed by Orange County, Carrboro, Chapel Hill, and Hillsborough as a collaborative effort along the municipal governments, the school systems, UNC, and residents to accelerate joint action on climate change issues. The Climate Council works to share successful approaches and identify both joint and individual opportunities to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and protect County residents.
