Adult Care Home and Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee

Description:

Members of this committee function as representatives of the Office of the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman and work to maintain the intent of the Adult Care Home and the Nursing Home Residents' Bills of Rights within the licensed adult care homes and nursing homes in Orange County. The Adult Care Home and Nursing Home Committee Advisory Committee also promotes community involvement, education, and cooperation with adult care homes and nursing homes to ensure quality care for older adults and adults with disabilities. In addition to quarterly visits to adult care homes and nursing homes in Orange County, this committee typically meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 5:00 pm.
